Our Cardinal Principals

Leadership

Alpha Phi Omega offers endless ways to develop your skills as a leader. Whether you attend a workshop, serve as a chair, plan your own event, attend a conference, or serve as a voting delegate, you'll develop invaluable leadership skills for APO and beyond!

Fellowship

You've probably heard the phrase, "come for the service, and stay for the fellowship." What sets Alpha Phi Omega above the typical service organization is the fraternity aspect of brotherhood and fellowship. APO is a place where you can make lifelong friends & family!

Service

Service has been a key piece of our fraternity's culture since its founding in 1925. APO invites servant leaders to come together to do service on our campuses, in our communities, for our nation, and for our fraternity. Each of our chapters build community & national partners.

"APO Fundamentally shaped who I am today... APO connected me with a more diverse group of peers with shared values -- we all wanted to help people and make the world better. That community also welcomed me back as an alum when I did not have a lot of stability. But volunteering as an APO alum also shifted my vocational path. I found purpose and fulfillment in helping students achieve their values-based goals, and that led me to pursue a student affairs master's degree... and that had a profoundly positive impact on me and my family."
