Region H's history begins with the approval of Region Realignment by voting delegates at the 2016 National Convention in Pittsburgh, PA. This legislation was set to come into effect 2 years later. Region H was designed to include all of Ohio, most of Indiana, and a portion of Northern Kentucky, divided into 6 sections.
Region H officially launched on December 31st, 2018, at the National Convention in Austin, TX. Brittany Ramsey (now Brittany Bradford) was elected to serve as the inaugural chair and was sworn in on December 30th, 2018.
At the 2023 National Convention in Indianapolis, IN, Sabrina Zurhorst was elected to serve as Region H Chair.
Region H consists of its original 6 sections across Indiana, Ohio, and Northern Kentucky.
